About the demonstration

This demonstration allows you to move around a 2D map, view information in 2D bubbles in the map and add your comments online.  You can also upload interactive panoramic images (a series of digital images stitched together to create a 360 degree view) and view comments and images left by others. This demonstration uses the Bristol Harbourside area as an illustration of what the technology can deliver.

With this tool you can:

• click on markers to view information in 2D
• view comments made by others and add your own
• add a panorama.

Requirements

You can view the map and comments, as well as adding your own comments or markers with any modern browser, viewing and creating the panoramas requires some plugins:

• Google Maps: to display information.
• QuickTime: to view panoramic visualisations.
• Java Web Start: to allow the creation of panoramic visualisations.
